Like the other large banks in the country, such as Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Itaú and Santander, the largest public bank in Latin America, Caixa Econômica Federal also has its application for mobile devices, giving its customers access to the account and the other important services.
The advantage of Caixa’s application is not only that it performs the main account operations, such as payments and transfers, checking balances and statements, among others. It turns out that, through the application, it is possible to monitor the other services offered by the Institution, such as the results of the Caixa Lotteries, in addition to simulating the installments for financing the homeowner’s house, or checking payments under the Bolsa Família program, for example.
As with the other banking applications, it is also possible to locate the most diverse service channels – Branches, Banco24Horas and Lotterics, requiring the user to manually enter in the system in which State, Municipality and Neighborhood he would like to find the place he wants.
The difference is that the bank has the so-called SMS Alert, in which the registered customer receives, via cell phone, information about transfers, withdrawals, payments and bookings made, information about the FGTS, purchases in Maestro or Visa Eletron debt, preserving their security and convenience.
To use the service on your mobile device, you must authorize access to your Internet Banking, choosing the option “Access via cell phone” in the Services menu.
